Former Recruits and Players

Who you got VCU current team vs. VCU Transfer team?

STARTERS
  • Ace Baldwin
  • Jayden Nunn
  • Jamir Watkins
  • Tobi Lawal
  • Jalen Deloach

ROTATION
  • Nick Kern
  • Josh Banks

SPOT MINS
  • Roosevelt Wheeler
  • Jason Nelson
Missing anyone?

Could easily see Kern in starting lineup, Tobi plays the five and Deloach first off the bench.

I think our current team loses unless the team above is also coached by Rhoades....
VCU current team because they play for VCU and I only like VCU and if you think otherwise you can go fudge yourself.

Let's talk about "former Ram" Jamarii Thomas

#1....I'm so glad this dude bolted for South Carolina, or else we all wouldn't be enjoying the Phillip Russel Experience!!!

#2....The Gamecocks SUUUUuuuuuuuuuuuck at basketball....far and away the WORST team in the SEC

#3...Thomas took the money and ran and I couldn't be happier...oh yea, 12/3/3 with a FG% under .400

#4....Gamecockwombles haven't won a game since December 30th vs Presbyterian

Good for Josh! Water under the bridge, but I do wonder if it was a question of timing for him - his game seems like it could've fit well in Odom's scheme.
I do think it was timing and he had a group of guys a year or two ahead and just behind him that were a tad better. He needed minutes that just weren’t available.

He can ball and will likely have a solid 5-10 career overseas.

Glad to see he’s thriving.

Life in the Big Ten for Penn State. Two VCU players with a conference record of 3-8, but with a NET of 48. Wonder what home attendance been like?

It was a packed house at Rec Hall last nugget but last night's game was the worst effort of the season.
I heard during the game that Rhoades wanted to move some home games to the rec center. Thing is, they had only practiced there once before the game last night. Brilliant.

They really play like a Mike Rhoades coached team. They were pretty much unwatchable last night. So many missed free throws. I don't miss that at all.

I was surprised that at home with a full arena wearing white they showed poor effort against a beatable OSU team. Normally PSU prides itself on being disruptive but last night they were sleepwalking.
