We weren't far off in 19-20. In fairness, the entire experience involves playing well and exceeding expectations but seemingly inexplicably dropping some games most years (and more than some more often than you'd like). The parts about building a lead and then hanging on for dear life are also extremely familiar.

I liked Rhoades and was a fan, but I think his body of work as a head coach overall indicates good not great, and I wouldn't put up much of an argument if someone set the bar at fair.

Considering the state of the PSU program, we might be better off with the money. Right this moment, they'd be a Q2 away game.

At this point i am ecstatic..maybe Ed can use the extra 550k to buy a decent big....Odom can fire the analytics guy and hire @mike7842 or @RowdyPkunk to analyze the numbers at half the pay.

I don't know whether to take this as a compliment that my stats threads are worth something...... or to be insulted that you think I'm only worth half the pay.

The analytics guy didn't have anything to do with it. Was Rodman a math genius??? Did Justin Tillman have a degree in Data science?? It's not hard to figure out rebounding angles based on shot location.

A number of posts suggest that PSU has backed out of the agreed upon H&H series with VCU. I have seen nothing to that effect. Do you folks have some factual info or is this just speculation? Must say surprised if PSU took the opt out option.
