FORMER RAMS ODURO, DYKSTRA ENJOYING EARLY SUCCESS IN 2010 MLS SEASON

RICHMOND, Va. – Former Virginia Commonwealth University men’s soccer standouts Dominic Oduro and Andrew Dykstra are off to successful starts in the 2010 Major League Soccer season.

Oduro, a four-year MLS pro, has started four games this year for the Dynamo collecting a goal and an assist in 329 minutes of action. He found the net in the 64th minute in Houston’s 3-0 win Saturday against Chivas USA.

Dykstra, who has started four matches in the net for Chicago, posted his first career victory with a 2-0 shutout against DC United over the weekend. He also registered his first-ever assist in the win. Dykstra has made 10 saves while allowing just five goals so far this year. The former Ram earned the starting nod in just his second season in the league.
