From One Dagger to a set of Knives

We all know about what Eric Maynor did to Duke back in 2007. Maynor hit the three pointer that broke the back of Duke. Let us not forget that Maynor had supporting cast of three point shooters in B.A. Walker and Jesse Pellot-Rosa. Now we have capable three point shooters across the board. We have a group of at minumum 5 guys who can get hot shooting the three ( J-Rod, Rozzell, Skeen,Burgess,Nixon and dare I say Brandenburg?) with a bench deep with capable three point shooters it is going to be hard to stop us period. Even if one or two guys go cold we can open up our drawers and pull out another knife another dagger another shank ....we are blessed and loaded with three point shooters...and you know what, thats our game...run run run and shoot. It is no wonder teams are worn down by the relentless onslaught on the field of battle. A lot of these teams are use to the half court game...they just ain't ready to run! They say speed kills...but speed with skills backing it is a mutha!....when we get to the promissed land and we will, it will be hard to look out for the dagger when you have to worry about a set of knives.

It's just amazing to think how so many guys have just played their butts off. Everybody is peaking at the right time. Yes, that 07 team was loaded and special , but at the same time this one is right now. Wouldn't it be great to see those two teams play each other?

It's just amazing to think how so many guys have just played their butts off. Everybody is peaking at the right time. Yes, that 07 team was loaded and special , but at the same time this one is right now. Wouldn't it be great to see those two teams play each other?

I happen to think that the 09 team *might* have been better than the both of them! Maynor as a senior, Sanders as a soph, basically take this team and replace Skeen with Sanders and Maynor....scary!

Force of habit.

I used to have it as a "sarcasm indicator" but I have since fallen in love with the little guy. I mean, just look at that priceless expression. A mix of "are you sure?", "uh-oh", "I'm not really serious" and "I am pondering the mysteries of the universe" all in one.

Agree with the first post and I know you said a deep bench but it's crazy thinking that Troy Daniels may even be our best pure shooter.
