Schedule Full VCU 2024-25 MBB schedule

When you go to purchase single game tickets, it show the available seats. With only upper corners left, how is the STU half full? The exhibition game had a BOGO sale so I got tickets to the home opener and the exhibition. Not really good seats, but we just walked over and sat mid court 10 rows up cuz the STU was empty.

Are there that many season ticket holders that just don't go to half the games?

The answer is yes, a lot of ticket holders don't show up to the undesirable games.

Ding! That's the answer. A lot of people weren't all that excited to get out of the house on a Monday night to watch VCU destroy a D3 team. In fact, a number of the people around our seats who did show up ended up leaving at halftime. I'll say it again -- getting a team with local interest, such as VSU, VUU, or (if you prefer D3) someone like CNU or RMC would be better than a D3 team no one has ever heard of. Also, I wonder if having exhibitions on a Saturday afternoon would be a better way to go.

@SteveMM pretty much hit the nail on the head there.

I would've been there, had I not been on a trip to Miami, that I had been waiting for since January, and it just so happened, that was the weekend that the D-Wade (my fave NBA player) Statue was getting unveiled outside the Heat Arena.... so I made the trip... I'd rather miss an exhibition game, over a game that actually matters anyway.

Otherwise, I would've been at the Exhibition game cause I'm ready for CBB season to start and the STU is like a 2nd home to me personally.

I think my friends who I have season tickets with ended up giving our tickets to a friend who rarely ever get to come to VCU games.

But don't worry I'll be there Monday Night cheering loud for the Rams!

My wife was one of the ones who left at halftime of the exhibition game. She was exhausted, hit a wall, and decided to go home. Fortunately we drove two cars so I could stick around and watch VCU hit 100. Like Zeb, however, if it had been a real game she would have been available.
