Gerald lee Allegedly Hurt

speaking of lee... it's clear he's trying to fit in with our players...
he's gone out and got 2 tats...
a basketball design at the top of his right arm, and a cross design just below it...
Poor Gerald... it's not going to make you any better... or any more like Sanders talent-wise.

This is not what i had intended for this GENERAL CAA BOARD...that being said as long as everyone is enjoying it...oh well. We should just call it the sh!t on_____ board though instead (since that's what everyone is using it for.

As an ODU fan I figured I would come on here and back up my boy Gerald Lee. Sounds like Gerald played some pretty good ball over in Finland. He combined for 14 points and 7 rebounds against France and Italy over in the Qualifying for the Euro Championships. I think he went 5/6 form the field and 4/4 from the line. He played 10 minutes in one game and about 12 in the next (Finland had 2 close losses and a win against New Zealand). Each team had 3 to 5 players in the NBA and plenty of other Professionals. Gerald is the youngest player on the National Team and needs to earn his stripes. Gerald looks like he made the most of his time. As for Larry Sanders, he will absolutely be the best NBA prospect in the CAA (Lee will have a good career across the pond somewhere), but that is only because he is a physical freak of which the NBA scouts will drool over. However, Gerald has more skill in his junks than your boy Sanders will ever have, which is why I hate the NBA. Give me a player who can shoot, pass, and dribble all day over a guy that can run and jump. Sanders is a force in the paint blocking shots, no doubt he will change games on the defensive end but, don't bash Gerald Lee for playing the game the way it was meant to be played even if it's not as flashy or above the rim. Gerald grew up in Finland, Sanders in Florida (nuff said) Sanders and Lee are 2 completely different players who's numbers are extremely competitive in the 5 head to head matchups. I'm glad the CAA has 2 high profile big men this year, good for the league, even if Sanders is the one getting all the hype!! Sorry for the novel, this will probably be my first and last post, later d#####bags

A few thoughts on this idiot's post...

1) Dbags? Par for the course for ODU trash.
2) Rebounding is evidently not a basketball skill anymore. Our ODU boy failed to mention that the sophomore Larry outrebounded the Junior Lee (8.5 to @ 5.0). :D
3) How skilled can one actually be considered at dribbling, passing and shooting if one does it as slow as someone with severe rheumatoid arthritis? I mean, I could be among the most skilled race car drivers in the world if doing it at 45 MPH was acceptable, as opposed to 210 MPH.
4) 3 out of 4 = Larry's CAA championships/opportunities. 0 for 6 = Gerald's CAA championships/opportunities.
5) Larry is being lauded for his current athletic ability and skill (shot-blocking/D, rebounding, transition scoring, etc.), but also for his "upside". Upside generally speaks to potential (as in "can get better"). If this is the case how can ODU boy say that "Gerald has more skill in his junks than your boy Sanders will ever have". Funny thing. I have not heard ANYONE talk about Lee's upside !

There, I am done with ODU boy. Thanks for play'n.
