I've been called a UNC-W fans, but coincidentally we need them to beat William & Mary for ANY shot at the four seed...

If we win and William & Mary wins, we are in a three way tiebreaker now with George Mason. Unfortunately, we end up 5th in that situation...

If we lose and William & Mary loses and Drexel loses, we are in a two way tiebreaker with W&M and get the 4th seed...

If we lose and William & Mary loses and Drexel win, we are in a three way tiebreaker with W&M and Drexel and get the 5th seed...

If we win and William & Mary loses, we get the 4th seed...

It's out of our control and up to what W&M does. Seriously, will playing Delaware on Friday wear us out that much more? The only problem I see is needing to get Joey some extra rest Friday - - and perhaps the psychological impact of being clumped in with the 2nd tier teams in the conference.

On the snippy side of things...Shaka said he was playing to win the tournament, then we likely end up starting it from a seeded position from which no one has ever won it.
 
If we can beat ODU then that is all I care about at this point. If we beat ODU and get the help we need to get into the top 4 then that is great, but I would rather beat ODU and finish 5th then lose and manage to get the 4th seed.

This I agree with. We have been mentally prepared for the fact that we were playing 4 games for awhile now anyway. Quite frankly our play on the road this season shows that we don't deserve a top 4 seed either. We'll have to earn it by doing what has been impossible until now. Win 4 games in 4 days.

I'd rather sweep ODU and go to our semi-homecourt with a ton of momentum riding high. Either way, we are the scariest 5 seed in a long time and I still think we have a very real shot at winning because of the advantage of playing in Richmond with all the crowd support as well as our depth.

You know the deal! The biggest game on our schedule is the next one. I think it starts in about an hour and ten minutes from now.
