Goldout for OU game?

I just saw this on a facebook group. What genius made this decision? Typical VCU, poor planning and preparation and decisions made by who the F cares. The athletic dept. needs to market these ideas and spread the words weeks in advance. Until that happens its half-ass at best. I just shake my head at the process around here.
 
Student sections are really the only ones that care anyway. Every game should be packed with gold so it really doesn't matter.

Then we shouldn't even do it if 1/10 of the people at the games care, and not even the whole student section cares.
 
i agree i dont think theres enough time to put together a good gold out by friday.

Im still down with the black out the black and blue though and then gold out a good conference game like odu
 
that is already the plan 8-)
OU and ODU are planned Gold Outs and Richmond and possibly the bracketbuster as blackouts.

I wear black and gold for every game--have for years! Gold shirt, black pants. You will just have to turn me upside down for the black outs! :lol:
 
Reminder: Tomorrow is a GOLD OUT. Rafter sent it out in an email to the student body Wednesday. Alumn, feel free to join in! GO RAMS!!!

Gold/Black outs only work when the shirts are given away at the door!

Without giving away shirts at the door it is hard to get everyone involved in these things, but I thought the student sections looked pretty much gold. A failed goldout is still a pretty good look, a failed blackout looks somewhat awkward.
 
Think of how great it would have been if there was an announcement at both the Bethune Cookman and Union games. The goldout would have been legit.
