Grayson not a done deal yet...

per one of the coaches today, Grayson is not a done deal...it will be a couple of weeks before they know for sure whether he is going to come or not...I don't think its because of another school. Has to be an eligibility issue. We will NOT sign anyone else. Its either Grayson or no one...the focus is on 2010 except for grayson.

also - appears that the schedule is done...looks like rick was right about a road trip south..i think fats domino had a song that went something like...I'm walking to .......right before christmas i believe..

im so excited for the road trip for the highly contested game of VCU @ Tallahassee Community College!!!!!

Based on Rick's Soylent Green reference in the other post, I think it's safe to say we are playing the Tulane Green Wave in Nawlins (New Orelans).
 
^^^ uhhh I hope not....why would anyone on this board get excited about playing Tulane. Because its in New O? It's got to be someone else, I hope its someone else....Maybe Tennsesse?
 
I had forgoten about the Charelton Heston reference... so Walkin to New Orleans by Fats Domino, + Soylent Green could point toward Tulane... but I'd have to agree that would be rather shrug-worthy, that's why I was wondering if there was a holiday tourney down there perhaps

of course a green wave could be related to a crimson tide... and they're both down in the same general neck of the woods

Hmm, I just checked my favorite New Orleans Hotel and they're already booked up that weekend. Word must have leaked that the Rams are gonna be in town. ;)
