Great Game and a hello

Hey all... I know I gave you guys a hard time when you started this and I swore I wouldn't come over here... yeah, we knew that wouldn't work out... forums are a GREAT way to keep up with other teams in the CAA...

anyway... a few things...

1. you guys look good last night, that full court pressure defense is fun to watch (except when it is being run against your team)
2. J Rod is fun to watch... that kid plays with a lot of passion and heart... you were lucky he decided to stay...
3. This isn't nearly as much of a circle jerk as I thought it would be... you guys still manage to get into some epic fights ;-)

anyway... great game last night... looking forward to Richmond, though hopefully we don't run into you guys again...
 
Welcome aboard Boondocks.

Tough loss for the Rams (really tough...hard to sleep tough), but give Coach L, Morrison, Cam Long...and yes, Louis Birdsong credit, they figured us out in the second half and whooped us.

This CAA tournament is going to be epic, I've already got a giant ulcer in my stomach just thinking about how nervous I will be in every round.
 
It was a good basketball game to watch.... (Except for Rams Fans ;) ) ... A lot of energy & passion from both sides...would love to get another crack at mason come tourney time
 
Great game and nice post, but get lost and NEVER come back!!!

Any of you that wish to confirm can go on over there and take a look for yourself, but there are way too many "dirty mexican" and "speedy gonzalez" and "taco bell" and even an "MS-13" comment with regards to Joey!

Plenty of "punk" and "thug" comments to go around as well. What a complete JOKE of a message board environment, and with regards to GMU a complete and utter EMBARRASSMENT of a fan base!

Hancock is straight gangsta. Tossed that little ***** Nixon to the floor. The Broad Street Bad Boys and Richmond's own representative of MS-13 couldn't do ****.

ok. VCU4Life... tell me where you see my name associated with ONE of those posts... either way, you'll get your wish... because it is exactly things like this that caused me to get ugly with "some" (notice not all) of your fan base to begin with...

Umm, you hate VCU and their nancy fans? I believe that was a direct quote from you after the game and prior to making your post here....

Alex, you are a fool if you really believe that. You can't possibly tell me that you don't think it is absurd what they say as a fanbase about individual members of our team. Yes, that is a direct reflection upon their ENTIRE fanbase, Boondocks included. Sure he might not have participated in the racial nonsense THIS TIME, but I am sure I am correct in remembering things he has said in past years. Their comments have been down right sickening and it is embarrassing that they get away with it.
 
V4L im not disagreeing with you just going to note that your last two posts almost sounded like they were from two different people...couldnt have merged those two thoughts together

OH... LOL... the Hate thread... I get it... you STILL don't understand the concept of the hate thread do you? As I said before, there were certain fans that pushed me to a point and I did say some things that were out of line...

I tried to extend an olive branch... obviously this wont work...

Mods, go ahead and delete my account so I don't get myself into trouble saying things that might offend some people... I don't want to get into it and say ignorant stupid things towards any fans on here... Lord knows there are no VCU fans that have done that stuff.. :roll:

for those of you that are cool, I did try... because I do believe that open talk between fan bases fuels a good healthy rivalry... I know we have our idiots, Lord knows I do... and if you read carefully you see a lot of us reigning them in at every turn... I know some of you guys try to do the same...

I don't really know Boondocks' past, and since he's not running for President I'm not too concerned... he came here with a positive comment so I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.
 
I'm less worried about what school a poster is from than I am about the posts they make.
 
I can't remember who said it from the GMU boards but V4L is a prime example of the sissification of America.

VCU4LIFE man do you complain. It is not a big deal! It really isn't!

You are really, really annoying. Ban me if you must but good lord. Boondocks post had NOTHING to do with that. I do have all of VCU's fans when I am playing VCU! Even Pav!

The racism thing is whatever, because every fan base has fans that do it. Period. So stop using a double standard. Did you happen to see a recent act of it? yes. But I Guarantee you that VCU fans have made just as racist jokes.

Relax and have a beer man. Good lord. His post in no way had anything to do with that...CALM DOWN!

Highly unlikely - we're the most diverse university in the country. Prove me wrong if I am.
