Guard Isaac Sosa leaves UCF basketball team

If he graduates in May and pursues a master's degree not offered at UCF, Sosa would be eligible to apply for an NCAA waiver for immediate eligibility during the 2011-12 season.

Sosa (6-3, 190) earned Florida Class 1A All-State first team honors coming out of Grandview Prep and chose the Knights after visiting Colorado in 2008. He also had offers from Kansas State, Washington State, Virginia Commonwealth and Old Dominion.

This was a guy that Anthony Grant must have pursued while he was at VCU. I wonder if Shaka Smart would have any interest in him. He was UCF's third leading scorer last season.
