Help me understand the CBI

FWIW...it was mentioned on Big Al's show that the choice was $60,000 or agreeing to play in a tournament hosted by the Gazelle Group next year. Those tournament would be The Legends Classic, Coach's vs Cancer classic, and the O'reilly CBE Classic. I have not verifed independently by an outside source :D

Being in the Preseason NIT next year we probably won't be able to do that and another tournament. But we could maybe get a deal where we get in one of those the season after next

I think that preseasons tourney agreement is for the 11-12 season.

That sounds more likely since most teams probably already have tourney's lined up for next year. Not a bad deal if that is true though.
 
Remember Shaka was talking about wanting to get a tournament together for VCU to host.....possibly they are talking with this group about getting that going?

Correct. We're already in the preseason NIT this coming year, along with VCU's holiday tournament.
 
Looks like UTEP is in the 2010 Legends Classic and they played in the CBI last year

Wouldn't mind to be in Coaches Vs Cancer if I had the choice
