Virginia Commonwealth was a difficult early season test for a Winthrop team that won't see anything that resembles the Rams' press-for-40-minutes style in the Big South and may not face a team again this season that shoots as well from outside the 3-point arc.

Loved hearing Brad's and Shaka's comments about how they were motivated from the Winthrop coaches and players talking about how we couldn't play half court defense! Ooops. Looks like we can. Need to continue to get better at finishing the last 5 minutes of halves but I'll take it and love every second of it!!!
