How are you feeling right now about the team and program?

VCU plays on Sunday but hopefully Loyola beats Mason so you have a long Saturday.
What a stupid take.

Mason beating Loyola only helps VCU.

If both Mason and VCU win then the rams Loyolas lead in the loss column is reduced to 1 game. In addition, Mason is sitting at a #79 in the NET. A road win over Loyola moves Mason to #75 and gives VCU another Quad 1 win..raising VCU's Quad 1 record to 2-2 with Dayton and UR on deck.

It is not stupid at all. I want cushion below VCU although it might be a bit off due to VCU holding the tiebreaker over Mason. It is a stupid take to be worrying about VCU's NET at this point.

What cushion??? No one below is going to catch VCU if the rams run the table the rest of the regular season, go 4-2 Quad 1...22-9 puts VCU firmly on tbe bubble for an at-large bid with the possibility of playing Dayton again...the rams, unlike last year, may not need win the conference tournament to get in.

I am so glad you posted this. I've seriously been walking around thinking there's a VCU game tomorrow.
lol I had someone at the WBB game Wednesday night that thought it was tonight. He was like "See you friday".... and I was like.... "Huh?" lol.... and told him what am I missing? The MBB game is Sunday.... he looked at the calendar on his phone and was like.... Oh Wow

We have differing opinions on this. I see the remaining schedule and I want a cushion below VCU. I do not believe VCU is anywhere near the bubble but if you and others think so go ahead with your hope of winning out to get an at-large. Since the OOC and opening with the GW and Bona loss at home I put all of that out of my head. I want VCU to get a bye and win the tournament because I believe that is their only hope of dancing. You understand? That is my take and it is not stupid as you deemed it.

We watched Shooting Stars https://www.imdb.com/title/tt3715152/ last night on Peacock, if you all haven't seen it, it's a good one. Would love to see our team develop that kind of vibe (the earlier flow they had).
That said I hadn't any idea about Lebron's earlier life.

Talk about stupid takes...we ain't running the table. We'll be darn lucky to beat St Joe's with our lack of defense

I had some hope of an at large last week but, even though it was only a Q2 loss, the UMass result pretty much killed that in my eyes. It's not so much that it was a bad loss, it's that we don't get the benefit of a halfway decent win. I'm with you -- preserving at least a top 4 finish is the most important thing right now and anything that helps us do that is a good thing. I'm not sure there's much of a realistic chance of getting higher than 4 right now, either.

I feel like VCU is in great position to get the double bye and garner an opportunity to win the A10 tourney.

It all depends on how they respond to the Minutemen massacre.

If the team carries over the same lackluster focus and lack of urgency from the previous game to the first half tomorrow thenit's gonna be a long Saturday.
History says they have had a team meeting and will fine for the next few games 🤷‍♂️
