It not sucking up if the statement is true.Only thing worse than a mason fan is one that sucks up
The jinx only works when I tell my UK alum brother to watch VCU play. VCU is 0 -3 when he watches them play.Take your reverse jinx somewhere else.
Take away all of his TVs.The jinx only works when I tell my UK alum brother to watch VCU play. VCU is 0 -3 when he watches them play.
Seton Hall, Nevada and the last St. Louis game.Take away all of his TVs.

I think either is acceptable but would probably wear honorary Mother I gear in a spirit of fairness/since you're temporarily a VMI fan. Hopefully they crush those South Carolina pansies. So serious question...
My brother is a VMI grad. He's attended several VCU basketball games with me, and always wears the camo VCU hat that I got him when he attends. Last game we attended I told him that we need to go to a VMI game sometime. This weekend we are attending The Citadel @ VMI. I've been debating, though, what do I wear?? Do I go ahead and purchase a VMI t-shirt because I'm attending his game at his place, and it really has no bearing on my team.... Or do I make a statement and keep wearing my VCU gear because that's my team?!
The closest comparison I can think of is that I absolutely wear my St. Louis Cardinals birds-on-the-bat jersey to the local minor league Red Sox games here in Roanoke, cuz you're NEVER going to see me wear anything Red Sox in my lifetime!
I would say just wear your VCU gear. Or maybe something Military inspired if you have something. So serious question...

You're attending the game for fun and for time with your brother, not as a huge fan of the team. If it was me, I wouldn't spend the money on gear that I'm not going to use all that much. If he wants to buy you a hat, you should wear it. Otherwise, if you want to support them, wear something in their colors if you have it. If not, wear something neutral that is NOT a color for the other team.So serious question...

No harm in wearing VMI gear, I also don't hate the idea of wearing a piece of VCU attire either, establish dominance. Grab some pizza and beer at Heliotrope before the game and you'll be set!So serious question...

VCU gear always! I hate seeing people at the stu wearing other gear but I always do it at other sporting events. It is ok when I do it.So serious question...

Poke out his eyes, well blind fold him and put in ear plugs anyway. I guess poking out his eyes is a little drastic.Seton Hall, Nevada and the last St. Louis game.
