I was told that Ed was an idiot for not continuing a Shaka tree that had essentially reached a dead end.

[EDIT] My mistake. 2015 Shaka had us at 58 offense/26 defense. 2016 Wade had us at 58 offense/24 defense. It feels great to finally be back 8 years later!



RO has taken VCU to efficiency numbers that VCU hasn't seen throughout the whole Shaka era and definitely post-Shaka era:

Offense- 58
Defense- 27

Weird coincidence but 2015 VCU had a kenpom of 58 and 26 and was 30th overall compared to 32nd this year. The 2015 team got a 7 seed thanks to a much stronger A10 where 4 other teams ranked higher than George Mason is this year.

To be Frank, I should be ashamed of myself for slighting the basketball God himself Will Wade. He actually had us at 58 offense and 24 defense in 2016.

Glad RO has raised us out of the depths of a fledgling MR (lack of) offense.
