How are you feeling right now about the team and program?

Off the topic: Penn State's season is officially one game from being done. The bottom three teams in the Big 10 don't qualify for the conference tournament and Penn State is now locked into one of those spots. Though I'm sure they fought like crazy to get into the tournament.

Sorry but I had to do it.

He certainly found a place to get going downhill.

100% for real... I really hope Coach Rhoades and Ace, Nick, and perhaps some other coaches will take a trip to DC to support Ferm and Zeb (AND their former program), who I think are the only remaining players from their stint here at VCU, right?

I say support from a far and watch on TV. Send a text message of support if they'd like.

Nah those guys supposedly were family, or as we say “ramily” if they have time why not come and support your guys?
Besides it’s a neutral arena.

Just the same as coming to see a guy graduate.

Mike’s beef if any was with Ed. Ace and Nick really had no beef except maybe with fans who were riding them after they decided to leave.

I theorize there's still some love, more than enough to show up and by doing so say Let's Go VCU. We were the ones for years being relentlessly told about the pride in former players and staff and all showing up at VCU at the BDC to so the same. There's no better time to bury the hatchet and show it really is about pride in the program, let's be real about this, that put them all on the map. It really could only help all involved and would be one heck of a show of class.

I can be swayed a bit for the players. Not to mention, Deloach is also playing in the tournament.

Rhoades...no way. It would be very awkward, especially if he were still employed at Penn State.

Awkward is also what got them all on the map. It sure as heck wasn't 100% comfortable!
Father Donald (the GOAT) told us at Benedictine all the time, if you never talk to your ex then there never was anything to start with.

I’ll root for Deloach as long as it’s not against us. Then I hope we dominant him and his team.

I think the employment part for Mike is on Mike and his former employer. Kind of like checking in on your previous finance while you are now engaged. However, it happens, Again, Mike’s beef was with Ed. But I understand and my analogy stands

The former players are all good IMO. For me it depends on their connection with Ferm and Zeb.

I am not angry that Mike left. I thought he did a good job but that his upside was limitied. He got paid and we got a better HC win, win for all.

As for Nick and Ace if they got paid more than we could pay them, I say good for them. We didnt suffer because they left. They were simply replaced. I hope they enjoyed their experience and welcome both back. That is as long as the former players welcome them back. Ace and Nick were here longer than Bones, Jamie Skeen, and as long as Larry Sanders. Pretty sure we’d welcome any of those three back.

Try inviting your exs to your wedding and see how that works out.

We can chat if I run into them on the street, not inviting them my important events.

How likely or unlikely is this scenario: MR realizes he's in over is head at Penn State and Penn State has seen enough to know MR is not the guy. They agree to a buyout, Mooney gets fired/resigns/accepts a reassignment at Richmond, MR comes back to Richmond to coach the Spiders.
It would be awesome to beat him 2 or maybe 3 times a year.
