How are you feeling right now about the team and program?

Fun February and great start to March.

Its a bit unnerving to not see NET shift much aftet so many wins. I hope we are relatively better tham advertised in these rankings and can surprise a few teams in the tournament.

The closer you get to 1 the harder it is for your NET to move. Everyone else around us is likely winning too which makes it harder to move up.

Hey @rollins77 !

Here's one for the records and one worth tweeting.

This season's team tied the 84-85 rams for the best W-L record in VCU history after 30 games(25-5).

Both teams won their 25th game on March 4th(03/04/1985 vs 03/04/2025).

if this season team wins the last game and opening round, it will have best W-L after 32 games in school history(27-5).

1984-85

2024-45

Sorry @Ramdog and @buckwheat, this is a generational team, because no Rams team in 40 years has done this well after 30 games.

100% for real... I really hope Coach Rhoades and Ace, Nick, and perhaps some other coaches will take a trip to DC to support Ferm and Zeb (AND their former program), who I think are the only remaining players from their stint here at VCU, right?
Ferm, Zeb, Fatts & Obi.

And then of course Roose, J-Wall from the training staff are still here.

How many D-2 teams did the '85 team beat?

Who is "J-Wall". I keep hearing the name but don't know who it is.....what is the full name? Anyone know?

I'll give you that. Comparatively, the 84-85 played an eons tougher schedule than '24-'25.

Then again, the 24-25 team would beat 84-85 team head to head. The 24-25 tesm would wear out the 84-85 7-deep team just like 1984-85 Louisville, Memphis St and Bama teams.

I just don't see Neil Wake keeping up with Clarke. I don't see Michael Brown and Don Franco handling Bamisile.

Schelgel can score around Fermin..no question.

Duncan and Lamb vs Shulga, Jackson, Russell are a push.
