Comparing teams from different era head to head is kinda lame. The game is played so differently today than in the mid 80s.I'll give you that. Comparatively, the 84-85 played an eons tougher schedule than '24-'25.
Then again, the 24-25 team would beat 84-85 team head to head. The 24-25 tesm would wear out the 84-85 7-deep team just like 1984-85 Louisville, Memphis St and Bama teams.
I just don't see Neil Wake keeping up with Clarke. I don't see Michael Brown and Don Franco handling Bamisile.
Schelgel can score around Fermin..no question.
Duncan and Lamb vs Shulga, Jackson, Russell are a push.
