How bad info spreads about our fans ......

No way in heck that guy was homeless. He was sitting in seats reserved for donors, not available for purchase by the general public and I saw him using his cell phone.
 
I find it interesting that I have to pay $5 to park in a handicap parking space at William and Mary while general admission parking pays nothing (this has happen three years in a row). Perhaps I should tell them that I am a homeless person and I will get a free meal, a free ticket, and free parking. Don't any of you W&M fans get on my case about the homeless. I distribute food to the homeless every Monday and Thursday morning.

I always find it interesting that W&M fans play the academic card when their cheerleading is outdone by VCU. I don't usually share this information but I think I will pull my own academic card. I am a graduate of Virginia
Commonwealth University. Four of my classmate plus myself went on to get a doctorate. That says something about the quality of my education at VCU. As a side note, VCU's Coach Shaka Smart is a Phi Beta Kappa. Two of our freshmen basketball players are engineering students. Two of our former players are playing professionally and earning several million dollars each. The list goes on but cares (but I'll stack VCU's medical, dental, pharmacy, nursing, arts, social work, and engineering students against W&M's anytime! :D :lol:

One additional thought: Twenty-seven of VCU's graduate programs are ranked by U.S. News & World Report, including number 1 for sculpture and number 1 for nurse anesthesia.

I was talking to someone in VCU Administration at the game today and its the same story...UVA, Tech, and Bill and Mary like to dump on good ole' VCU. I guess it makes them feel so superior. I laugh all the time about the University of Richmond - what in the world does that school do for the City of Richmond? Anything? Anyone??

Waste Management fans only have the right to complain when they actually get into an NCAA tournament, in the mean time they should take their beatings like good fans and pick up my garbage.
 
Thanks for having my back MrVCU. I actually thought our fans were pretty on top of their game at WM. Mostly positive, "for VCU" cheers and not too many "against WM" cheers. The only time I ever saw anyone say anything to the "homeless man" was after he turned around and started ranting, so we responded with a "He is An-gry" chant.

Side note, I used to joke that for the winter break games when we'd have under 2000 fans back before the resurgence, we should give out tickets to the Monroe Park homeless to fill the place out. Didn't think William and Mary would (allegedly) do it in reality.

This ^ is what a classless fan would do, and I'll wear that title proud while you keep crying about how the traveling Rams drowned out the cheers your cheerleaders worked so hard to do. I'll be serious and defend the players all day, but I'm more than happy to combat hypersensitive rival fans in any way, shape, or form ;) COMEWIDDIT!!!!
 
W&M chants sucked. Thats fact. You couldn't hear the chants when the fans actually started them. The cheerleaders weren't much better. The cheerleaders did a GO Green chant at one point so Ram fans did a VCU chants and the hey song to cover it.
 
ill take full credit for heckling the living daylights out of the w&m fan, and im sure ramithome, xjohnx and several others will agree that his "homeless" guy (that was wearing a brand new gold W&m underarmour polo, a nice looking black steelers jacket, and using a relatively new cell phone) turned around first and make the first personal attack

and i am also positive these individual will agree that no personal attacks were made on this fan of w&m only general comments that could have been directed at anyone that decided to take them personally

and to read the Richmond board I dont know where anyone would think that vcu fan were escorted out, i have photographic proof that the w&m fan was the one escorted away by security, not vcu fans
 
I lived in Williamsburg for most of my life and I'll tell you this. The homeless population is bleak here. In my 14 or so years living here I have seen 1 homeless person, and that was last Saturday in a McDonalds, and he looked like he hadn't been homeless for long.
 
Growing up in Williamsburg, I know for a fact that gentleman is not homeless. I do not remember his name, but I know who they are talking about. I've seen him at games. Havent lived there for 6 years but my parents still do. Guys you did great with the chants, screw those rigid WM fans.

There are quite a few homeless folks in the burg. They hangout around/under the bypass on Richmond Rd and over by the community pool behind what used to be Roses and Ace Hardware.
 
Man this thread reminds me exactly why VCU fans left the Zone.

ODU calling VCU trash- Talk about the Pot calling the Kettle black.
W&M and the never ending, "I'm better then you attitude."
etc

I love how everyone there is so quick to jump on others whether there's truth to something or not. Its like a lame high school who lives for a gossip.
