HOW DOES IT FEEL COACH GRANT?

I guess this is not an off topic thread since it's about a former coach.... I guess his boy will answer this question soon. :evil:
 
even though I loathe 'bama, and cut the Grant-heartstrings as soon as he took the money and ran, this thread sucks... and given the OP, I call shenanigans
 
Coach Grant did plenty for this school and for some of our favorite players that I don't relish his failure. Since they were on the bubble just like us I had to hope for Alabama to get the short end of the stick, but had we won the auto-bid I think it would have been nice to see Alabama in the tournament. Hope they make some noise in the NIT.
 
Have to agree. Coach Grant did a lot for our program. He picked up where Coach Capel left off and gave us three of the best years we've ever had. No need to rub it in his face. It won't be long before he's in the dance on a yearly basis.

Really? You mean RPI #80? You mean the team with an OOC SOS of 236?? Really?? They should have got a bid? Over the 79 teams in front of them??

Get real. At least he will get an OOC bump next year when he has to play us.
 
I would like it if Alabama never won a single game in any sport they play... not because of Grant, but just because they're f'ing bama. I agree that Grant did a lot for our program while he was here, and for that I am grateful, but that gratitude doesn't extend to well wishes at a new gig.

I'm not saying Alabama would have necessarily been the best selection, but just as a personal/emotional choice I would have been happy for them had they gotten in. I've got no problem with them being out though.
 
Bama's OOC SOS was 285. Colorado's was 325. It's pretty easy to see why they didn't make it. Ask Jim Boeheim. Don't know why the band of idiots at ESPN couldn't figure it out.
 
I wouldn't hate on Grant, but I do think its ironic he left us in part for greater at-large opportunities.
