I just looked up three guys who were former Rams. Gavin, Myk Brown, Terrance Santil, and Lance Kearse.

I do not know personally why any of them transferred. However, it appears to me that only Myk is doing better that he most likely would have as a Ram. Gavin is at least playing but the jury is still out on him at this point.

People discuss how both Lance, and Terrance were head cases. I do not know if that is true, but if it is man what a tough lesson.

If determined both of these guys would most likely be in the rotation. Terrance if he focused could be that low post help VCU desperately needs, so could Kearse for that matter. Again don't know if the head case thing is true but if it is I wonder if either Kearse or Santil wish they could have simply stuck it out and focused on the court.

I mean Santil dropped down to NAIA Walsh college and he doesn't even start. He might have done that and more as a Ram.

What do they have to regret? They didn't really leave by choice. Sure, they could have played better but sometimes things don't work out.

All 4 of them COULD have done well.... but when it comes down to it, the coaches obviously felt that they were not helping the team, in which case they were released. Only the coaches, other players and Athletic department know the real reasons they were released by the team, which they wont disclose. But they are at other places now and hopefully they do better there.

The only regrets these players could have would be.... they couldve worked harder in practice and not done any wrong doings they might have done otherwise.

While we wish those guys luck to where they are now, we need to worry about now, and not worry about what coulda been had Myk, Jay, Lance or Terrance still been here.

3? Flaws everywhere!

Why are these guys being discussed in the forums still? Saintil had a problem with authority and him leaving was a much better positive for the team than if he stayed. Myk Brown wasn't getting playing time and Grant didn't trust him to play with more options ahead of him on the lineup and that's why he left. Gavin self-imploded. Great guy with great character, but in the end he left to find a better opportunity elsewhere because of playing time. Kearse had a medical condition, and I don't think he and Grant saw eye-to-eye.

So let's please stop discussing these guys. They are no longer rams, they decided to leave, and because they left, they can no longer contribute on the court to what is VCU Basketball.

I think the question is are we mission them or are they mission us? I suspect it is the latter. I believe Myk expressed some sort of regret for transferring out when he did. Lance showed such potential I am sure he wishes things would have worked out differently.

Truth Fi08....rammad is putting in some work in for DPOY

forgotten about the infamous drain poster of the year award....Dirk is up there but the sheer volume of mad's work is inspiring

You're better than that bro.

But, I'm gonna assume you posted that from a mobile device, maybe a result of an auto-correct feature.

In which case, I applaud you for checking the forums on-the-go.

**(And yes, I did re-read this twice to make sure I had spelled everything correctly.)
***(I probably still messed something up.)

mobile "auto-correct" (auto-incorrect in this case?) once is ok.

but twice, the same word, really?!? ;)
