I don't know if this topic has come up before, but ever since I was a kid going to the Colesium Hunter Elliot has been the the PA announcer for VCU. He is a fantastic announcer and makes Rams games even more enjoyable with his energy for the game as well his respect for opponents (unless he is announcing one of Blame Taylor's hockey line substitutions).

He's been an inseperable part of VCU basketball just as Terry Sisisky was for many years. He seems to always do the CAA tourney also where he does 11 games in 4 days.

Hopefully he will continue to serve in this role and make Ram games exiting for years to come.

Hunter is an excellent announcer and a great dad. The latter I know from personal experience. Years ago I worked with his mother and always thought she was a quality individual. Obviously the apple didn't fall far from the tree.

Yes it's true, he has a great gig.

I literally have grown up with Hunter and Terry. I miss Terry so much. No one called a game better than him. I also want to point out that VCU by far has the best band director in the NCAA. I've never met Chris (Pav), but I really don't know what I would do if he wasn't at a game at the Siegel Center.

I always wondered how hard it is for him to do the CAA tourney gig and have to temper his emotions when announcing a VCU game. It's gotta be hard to go from saying KaaaaReeeeel!!! Picschaaaaaalnikov!!! to Kiril Pischanlikov.
