I just finished watching the nu gmu game and I believe we can beat gmu. I used to think the key was to shut down cam long but it isn't. The key is for Brad to keep hancock busy on defense and stop his dribble penetration and dishing out on offense, and someone(Jamie he is bigger and just as mobile) has to find and keep a body on ryan pearson. pearson is the key when he is rebounding and getting those junk baskets they are nearly impossible to beat. Yeah c. long is a beast but if Brad comes to play and Jamie can stop pearson we win. Juvonte, Toby, and DJ will have to contend with morrison and ensure that he doesn't have a career game given Jamie should be locked in on person.

Yes they are good, they play as a team but if Brad shows up, and Jamie claps down on Pearson we win.

As to Joey he only needs a solid not stellar game. Ed will have to continue to play solid D.

Mason is a top 20 in the country squad. However, for the reasons Rammad just pointed out, I agree, they are very beatable.

We COULD beat any team. That was never the issue.

Doing it consistently is something totally different.

I've noticed throughout the year that Brad thinks (and probably is correct) that he gets fouled a lot, but it isn't called. He will vocally and physically (throw his arms in the air) complain to officials. I wonder if that hasn't started effecting his play. I bet if we went back and viewed those games where he didn't get his "required" (by Shaka) 12 shots per game and therefore didn't score well, we'd also notice him getting hammered without benefit of the call. This seems to compound when he feels he's called for touch fouls. Seems to be particularly true when we play very physical teams.

Well we do seem to beat Mason when it matters especially since Cam has been there so hopefully we can continue that. Cam may shoot himself though if we beat them in another big game before he graduates.

anyone see cornelius being a b*tch (aka "tough guy") last night? this WILL have a negative effect on their team this season from here on out. mark my words.

Didn't watch their game last night. What exactly was he doing?

He got fouled at the sideline near the Northeastern bench and held on to the guy who fouled him shorts while laying on the court the guy pulled away and step over his head. He jumped up and pushed the guy.

If he hadn't pulled the kids shorts and held on the incident doesn't happen and the kids reaction was aggressive at all. Certainly not worth a push and ensuing tech.

My thoughts exactly.

No doom and gloom, no guarantees. Just go out there and play the game. We took it pretty hard on the chin last time, but I am confident we'll be ready for this one.

I was saying in big games since Cam has been there we have pulled it out. So if we beat him again in a big game he may go off and shoot himself from all the pain we have put him through.

It was a joke i really dont want the kid to shoot himself. ;)

Mason got another scare today at Georgia St, game was tied with under 3 to go.
