Slacking here with the in game threads. Let's go ahead and get this started...
 
Lot of fouls being called so far, wonder if the refs are using them to catch a breather
 
checking in from the bowels of the Portsmouth Courts busilding...what has the flow of the game been thusfar? I cannot listen to it via stream while conducting bond hearings.

It's a track meet, as the earlier guy mentioned, seems the refs are using the whistle just to be able to keep up! :P
 
Veal 1 of 10 from the foul line for the year. Yikes.
 
Nice run to end the half, up 46-35. Went VERY small with Joey, B-Rozz, Ed, Troy and Toby to end the half and stretch the lead out a little bit....
 
Troy Daniels leading the way with 12 pts, Brad and Jamie got in foul trouble and sat for a long stretch with Jamie logging 9 and 5 before picking up the 2nd foul. Toby also picked up a 2nd foul but Shaka kept him on the floor, and he picked up 8 first half boards. Sounded to me like rebounding really played a key role in our late first half run....
 
isnt this a little redundant with a live blog/chat going as well?! :shock: !?
 
Question re game broadcast -- I know that there is now a charge on the VCU Athletics website for video. What about the radio broadcast? I am assuming that there is also a charge for that since I can't hear it when I open that link...
 
As soon as our defense started doing what they need to do the game changed in our favor. Outstanding shooting by Daniels and what a spark Brandenburg brings. Got to come out ready to play defense contesting all their shots . Rozell struggling early but coming on. Everyone else contributing especially Skeen , Nixon and steady Brad.
