Intro

I was happy to see they kept the old music this year which hopefully means they will make it a longstanding VCU tradition. One thing I noticed though was right before or after the intro(I forget exactly when) Enter Sandman came on. Is that being added to the intro lineup?
 
I like how they ended it with Brandon yelling Get Up! It finishes stronger that way.
 
Happy to see Requiem back and I liked "Get Up" at the end. I hated Enter Sandman. That song used to be so cool until Tech ruined it. A bunch of hillbillies jumping around to Metallica doesn't have anything to do with football it's just what they do on a Saturday night.

Also, I loved the old school Kurt Angle music when the opposing team enters allowing everyone to chant "You suck" at them. Completely unexpected and really cool.
 
I can do without "you suck." I still would hope that a group of college educated students would be more creative than that, but I fear I'm losing that battle.

The intro footage seemed to have some timing issues to me.

That song through out its life was tuned to the words "you suck". As mentioned by that earlier post in the thread it comes from the old WWE intro which people chanted it. Probably not the best way to prevent the whole "you suck" thing.
 
Like I said, I would hope VCU students would be more creative.
 
I would of like that countdown to end with the dagger. That would be a nice touch I think.
 
I like the idea of sticking with the same song, still think the quality could be 100x better (no creativity, poor green screen, just looks bad). I guess that's just something the athletic department isn't too concerned with, too bad.

I actually think it's "le go!" - or let's go, for most of us.

I am on your side, Pav. It offends a lot of folks. There has to be a more creative way. Don't give up your battle, Pav.

I thought our intro video had timing issues, but those two were even worse. Who makes these things?

As far as the you suck thing goes, maybe I'm getting old, but even when I was a student I got pissed when we had nothing more creative to say than "you suck."

That Kurt Angle "you suck" bit only came after his heel turn.
