Introduction

yeah money shouldnt be an issue, ever think the brand center or VCU in general could have a contest for someone to make intro videos, $500-1000 prize (couldnt imagine that would hurt the athletic budget much)
Great idea Paul.

There's only one scene missing from this video... The Ram having a field day all over the UR campus.

Taking a dump on the mush!

I agree with building tradition and keeping it the same for years to come, but "get up" is not it. Requiem is awesome but done but a lot of other teams already as well all know. I hope whatever they choose is LOUD, memorable, and has a great video accompanying it.

I remember going to the games at the Coliseum as a kid and getting the chills when those lights went down and "Welcome to the Jungle" started to play....still one of my favorite intros of any sporting event I've ever attended. Also helps when you have a killer sound system like they do at those larger arenas, not sure you get that volume level with the bass AND clarity at the Stu.

I think we all agree that the Stu's sound system leaves something to be desired. Just one more reason to use it for announcements only and leave all the music to the award winning Pep Band.

This 100%. This. Really, this.

We have the best pep band in the nation. Lose the video. Let the play say something that everyone can get into. Get the folks on their feet - dancing, clapping to the beat, make it a party that's just getting started. Use the video board on the band, band leader, and the fans that are getting into it.

I agree. That was the best intro. by far.

This. And that! Seriously does it matter?

We have the best band and a great team.
