Invitation to Meet the President of VCU

For those of you who are graduates of VCU, you are invited to a reception welcoming the new VCU president. You will have a chance to meet Dr. Rao, to listen to his goals for VCU, and to ask him questions. The dates, places, and addresses are:

Each reception will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. with remarks by Dr. Rao at 7 p.m.

The first session went very well (it was held at the Culture Center in Henrico). Dr. Rao is a very friendly and approachable president. I firmly believe that he will take us to the next level. He has set at least two priorities: (1) create more scholarships so we can be more competitive with other universities and better serve our students, and (2) increase the number of faculty in order to reduce class size. Pretty lofty, but achievable, goals!
