Joey was given the position of PG when he signed but I was wondering how much PG did he really play in high school? Did Joey handle the ball when there was pressure or did Calathes? From what I have seen in college, Calathes looks a lot more comfortable playing PG than Rodriguez does. Joey may be a good passer but I get the feeling he did a lot of what he did this year with Maynor, when he was playing with Calathes. I could be wrong but did anyone see him play in high school? A PG's skills can look a lot better when he has another PG beside him. To be honest, I have seen a lot of high school point guards that may have played the position but when pressure got on them, they looked more like shooting guards. From what I have seen the last two years, Joey looks more like a Daniel Gibson than a T.J. Ford. What do you guys think?

Yes and a will be a good one at VCU as he has been everywhere he has played. He has his limitations, but don't we all and will have turnovers like all point guards do. As good as Maynor was he had games where his turnover count was high as well as making bad decisions. Joey is going to help us stay a championship caliber team. He is a team player who wants others to score first and has the God given ability to get better. Stop worrying about Joey, he will not let us down.
