Only played 5 minutes tonight...but I loved what I saw.

3 ASSISTS, 2 points, 1 steal.

Kid is lightning quick. I nominate him as one of the most entertaining players to watch on this team.

Couldn't agree more. That steal was sick, very Maynoresque.

I thought he looked the most comfortable on the court out of all the freshman. Theus did a solid job in his first performance though

Daniels looked a little tight out there but still grabbed 3 boards and hit a three in 7 minutes. I think once he loosens up a little that kid is gonna be solid. Theus looked super comfortable..didn't have a big line but didn't look like a freshman. And how about "The Sleeper" David Hinton...4 points in 3 minutes.

I was surprised at Hinton. He's big and has solid moves...even if it was only VUU.

hate to say I told you so, but i totally called this :)

I hope he gets more playing time as the season moves along.

I have to say that I loved what both Issiah and Hinton brought to the floor. Issiah just gives us a different look and style at point guard then Darius does. These two are the point guards of the future and I like what I see. Darius is going to be a stud in the CAA...and since we rotate so liberally, Grayson should get plenty of time to show his stuff. He strikes me as being a lot more flashy and and fancy. Darius is just solid and has a high-motor. He really gets after the ball on defense and was on the floor scrapping for loose balls a ton. He had one drive into the paint and I swear I thought Maynor was driving. He has such a similar style penetrating to the rim. If he's half the player Maynor was...I'll be esctatic! Shaka got some great players for having such a late start on recruiting.

I thought he was extremely effective at the quick dibble penetration and kick outs to our shooting guards. Had we shot better from three his assist total might have been even higher in that 5 minute span.

Hinton is a sleeper...in the right situations he'll have some great games in his future.

Issiah will be super entertaining. He needs to put on some weight and muscle, but that will happen naturally. Looking forward to seeing more of him at the point.
