In this league it is good to be hated. If you are hated that means that number 1 you are good and 2 you are winning. No one hates on a loser. It seems that ODU fans in particular point to home advantage during the CAA championships as an excuse for losing. They had the home advantage in Norfolk and still lost, and as usual they had a bunch of excuses for why they lost. They did not cry for a change last year when they finally won a championship in The RC. It is like this...If you are great you are going to win no matter where you play. That is the difference between a good team and a great team. A good team will win at home most of the time. A great team will win no matter how high the deck is stacked against them. IMO we have a great team that can only get better as the year goes on. I say it is good to be hated. That means the team and the fans are doing their job. We have the best team, the best fans, the best fan board, the best school, and the best program period. It is good to be hated. :ugeek: :ugeek: :ugeek:

No one hates on a loser? I disagree. What about Liverpool? I know plenty who hate them and they ain't winners.

I get the point though. Its been awhile since we've been getting the hatred we're use to.

Well derr... how many Bears, Packers, or Vikings fans do you know that consider the Detroit Lions a "true" rival? Lions (in all forms) are just lame.

They'll be like Newcastle. Everyone will hate them until they're relegated and then they'll win the championship the following season and gain all these fans that will claim they stayed loyal through the rebuilding process.
