Jamal's buzzer beater

"Ooh La La La La Shu-ler!"

Is that French for, "I have a HUGE man crush on this guy!"?

Thanks for the share, Shufan!

Hahahahaha that was awesome. Those announcers were great. Def a lock for number one play on ESPN the Ocho.

or the Huit... pronounced like wheat... as in a shock of wheat, as in the shockers... spooky

Shuuuuu.... very cool shot, thanks for passing that on Shufan!

At the 54 sec mark was the announcer yelling frommage frommage, as in cheese, cheese? I would pay my cable company to start to carry that channel, just to listen to the announcers, thats funny stuff.

Stumbled on these two gems while searching for a story on the game. They are two videos posted on vimeo page of the French team that Shu's team beat.

This first vid is absolutely hilarious if you take into account the really epic euro music and that it was the losing team that posted it. Translation of beginning text is: "Basketball is one of the few sports in the world that can, in a second, generate much sadness and much joy. That is why we love basketball."

Second vid is the whole broadcast of the game. Atmosphere is a lot more intense than I expected for European games. It seems a lot more fun and exciting than a good amount of Wizards games I've been to.

I guess he missed those free throws on purpose to set up the drama.

Was this game for a playoff spot or a championship or what? An amazing shot, absolutely! Reminiscent of Bo Jones.

"Bo Jones throws up a 70 footer! GOOOOOOOOOOOD! AAAAAAAH! GOOOOOOOD!"

Look at VCU's own Chris K getting credit from SI for the assist!

It's kind of interesting how they throw out Chris K's name, but fail to mention Jamal Shuler's. Isn't that a little bass ackwards?

(No offense to you, Chris K)
