thought i would post this in case some are not aware and don't have the jazz schedule memorized yet ! Game is on nba tv which is available on directv and verizon fios and i believe also available thru comcast. I have verizon and I know we get it.

Yeah, I was pleasantly surprised to see that we have NBA TV on fios...either I never noticed it or they just added it in the last few weeks.

so much good sports on tonight that I almost cant deal

maynor just dropped a huge f-bomb on camera after missing a 6 footer off the front of the rim

Yep- Tonight is a dream come true for the man that loves sports!! Maynor just came in. Not good, but not all his fault. Had to jack up a contested jumper at the shot-clock buzzer.... then got in the lane- Easy style... but blew the short, wide open runner once he got there. He's struggling right now, but I still think he's gonna be just fine. The jump must be one heck of a learning curve. Sloan will work him in.

Personally I don't think he's struggling. He's not playing enough minutes continuously enough to struggle. Frankly I think the first 10-15 games he won't see more than 3-5 minutes per game. Sloan is adept at bringing along rookies so he'll certainly be patient with Eric. I will say this...he has NO CHANCE of staying in the NBA past his first contract if he doesn't put on a significant amount of weight/strength. He looks small out there. I'd like to see him at 180-182 next year instead of 165.

very much in agreement of this

Deron Williams is the same height and between 40-50 lbs heavier without giving up any speed. this is one of the many reasons he is an elite point guard. im sure Sloan recognizes this and has Eric working hard in the weight room

Personally I'm ready to see Eric traded to a team who will give him minutes and we're only 3 games in. Ronnie Price? Please.

The Jazz are soft. I'm ready to drop my avatar already and pray he gets packaged with Boozer or somebody in a big trade with a different team.

Maynor ended up with 5 minutes, 0-2 and no points with one assist in a big home loss to the Rockets.

It blows my mind seeing him on the bench like that... That guy has too much fight to just sit and watch.

Please Utah, trade our boy back to the East Coast...

Guys Maynor isn't going to get much burn anywhere in the NBA with his strength and body as it is right now. Sloan is tough on rookies and rightfully so. He's a hall-of-fame coach for a reason and he speaks very highly of Eric. Look at Deron Williams rookie year and you'll see that Sloan was very similar with him as well. This is the way Sloan works with Eric. As much as it sucks for us, it's better to wait for it all to play out. Eric will be fine.

How much does Steve Nash weigh? He was the league MVP for 2 years, I believe. Deron Williams is a go-to guy on this team. He carries them a lot of the time. Point guards don't have to do that everywhere. If the mix of personell gets right, Eric will be in heaven out there dishing the ball and picking his spots. Let him have a rookie year. This is a heck of a bump he's experiencing, and he's got the goods, I think, to be around a while.
