Jazz vs. Blazers NOW

Just went to sign up for the NBA broadband season package and noticed that they have an option where you can follow up to seven teams for the entire season for $89.95. This is $45 less than signing up to follow every team in the league at the price of $134.95. This way you would be able to follow Eric and the Jazz all season long and up to six other teams that you may have any interest in. Just thought that I would pass this along so that anyone who was on the fence about spending $134.95. I have seen the commercials for the nbatv package through direct tv and it was around $300 for the entire season. The broadband package would be a nice alternative for my fellow members of ramnation who wanted to be able to follow Eric throughout the season without having to pay a significant amount of cashola.

I signed up for the free trial last night and watched the Wiz game. It was a very nice HD quality webcast with very little buffering. I was pleasantly surprised and I'm now considering purchasing the $90 package to follow the Wiz, Jazz and a few others. I wish VCU (or the CAA as a whole) would do the same. I'd gladly pay $90 to follow my Rams via quality webcasts. The current free webcasts provided by VCU are nowhere close to the quality of the NBA broadband package.

Hey Rambler,

I agree with you on the quality of the broadcasts being very high. I enjoyed watching games last year and was able to follow my NBA team for the majority of their games, when you do the math its a little over dollar per game considering their are 82 games per regular season in the NBA. I feel the same way with you about being able to watch VCU games. It would be nice if the NCAA had some type of package where you could follow your team for a certain price for all of their games in HD quality. I will be purchasing the same package that you got to be able to follow Eric and the Jazz as well as the Lakers, and Wizards now the Gilbert is back to full health.
