Great moment after Thursday's open practice. Stewart Mandel of Sports Illustrated asks Shaka a question, and the answer was something like, "There's a man I've never met named Jerry Palm who had us in all week and I trust his opinion very much." Little did he know Jerry was in the room. Mandel pointed him out to Shaka and Jerry waved and said hello.

it was like...yoooo jerry....thanks for the confidence...shaka seemed really really sincere about the props
 
I can dig that Jerry Palm is giving us props and there are these interesting caveats to the Shaka/Palm relationship but after reading this one thing stuck out in my mind.

Someone needs to digitize all his notes in high resolution so he can put them on whatever smart phone/tablet/laptop/net-book/cpu gizmo he travels with. And if he is not traveling with any of the before mentioned gizmos,it may be time to start.

Other than that, I love the attention. I love that Jerry Palm had us in from the start and now Shaka is giving him props. I love that we have a coach and players whom have chips on their shoulders because it shows.
