Unless you are willing to break into the locker room I don't believe so. The only once I have seen for sale since I started at VCU were Eric's black #3 and now Larry's black #1 neither of which looked any thing like what they actually wore.

To me it looks exactly like the black #3 jersey that was sold the last two years. They took those off of the rack and replaced them with the black #1 at the end of last season. So in my opinion the quality is poor, but we don't have a lot of options.
Shoe-No matter how good the quality is it won't have the players name on the back. That is an NCAA rule.
Other than the 6th man jerseys and the ones sold in the past few years does any one out there have any VCU jerseys? Post some pics and show them off if you have them.

Well that doesn't help me any more, but you are absolutely correct. If you are a student make sure you take advantage of that as it could be your best opprotunity to have a high quality VCU jersey for a while, and it is free! I wonder why the bookstore doesn't cash in on some jerseys. I would think that Nike would be able to sell them jerseys especially if the demand is there. If Keith and the athletic dept. can get them, the bookstore should. I'm gonna have to talk to someone at the bookstore. By the way, the new jerseys (esp. the black ones) are LEGIT!

Just for a reference I figured I would check to see what one of the bigger schools offers. Oklahoma was the first that came to mind since we have been talking about the upcoming game. They have both a replica and authentic basketball jersey available.

I couldn't believe the prices. I didn't think you could get a Nike jersey of any type for less than $80 any more. I realize that OK moves more units then VCU would, but if we could come any where close to those prices for Nike jerseys I would get a new one every year. Maybe by ordering extras for sale to the general public the school could bring down the price for those used in the 6th man program as well.

has anyone actually tried contacting the bookstore/AD and let them know that there is a demand for this?

I called Nike this morning and they said that the fans would have to contact the team dealer for these jerseys. Therefore Barnes and Noble might have to do the same thing. All i'm saying is that the sales would be there. 30,000 students every year and many more alumni, COME ON!

I love the new jerseys...and don't want to be debbie downer but I would be interested to see what the actual demand is. As we all know we have alot of apathetic students and alot of "oh they beat duke, ok now I'm a fan" sorts of poeple lol.
