How 'bout these stats:

Nixon (3-10), Rozell (0-5) and Burgess (2-7), combined 5 for 22. Nice.

Most troubling stats - 22 turnovers to JMU's 11 TOs. The majority of those 22 TOs were unforced. That's all she wrote.

Uninspired and downright pathetic effort.

This says alot about tonight's game. The 22 turnovers is awful.

Where did our defense go when JMU went on that 19-2 run to start the second half? I just don't get it.

I'll tell you what burned me up, crucial point in the game, the ball goes to Larry and he just nonchalantly catches the ball with one hand likes its the middle of the first half. And of course it gets stripped. He did it twice if I remember correctly.

how about larry's 3 missed tip ins that is what did us in Bowles is a much better player than larry in college basketball atleast

Here's another stat...

JMU played 7 players on the night, their best fouled out right around the 8 minute mark...and we couldn't bury one of the worst teams in the CAA.

Terrible loss.

Thank you! Atleast SOMEONE out there gets it...

If this team tried, i'd still back 'em. This current team doesn't give a rats azz. So long VCU Basketball '09/'10.....bring on '10/'11!!!...wait, not so Smart will be our coach next year, um, can you say 5th place? Larry or no Larry...

I don't think any one disagrees with this. We should have worn them slam out. Especially considering how much Bowles played in the second half. I don't seem to be able to wear out other teams with our pace this year, even teams with a very short bench.

The Havoc ball seems to bite the Rams when their on the road. I feel they get more out of control then the other team. At home its a different story.

That's just it. There is no havoc on the road. It's all preventive, conservative, play to not lose playing.

Here's another stat, JMU lost to Towson....

We'll get it fixed. I'd rather this happen now than say, March 5-8.

how about this stat....

Jamie Skeen had his second best game of the season by scoring all 12 of his points in the first half against Denzel Bowles and then gets benched all of the last 10 minutes after Bowles fouls out. I think it would have been a definite 1-2 punch KO over those final minutes had he stayed in with Larry.

And what if it happens both times? What will you say then?

Nobody thought we'd lose to William & Mary in AG's 2nd year. The problem with Shaka is that he thought he could come in here and use the regular season as his exhibition to try and figure things out. Now he's putting all his eggs in the "CAA Tournament" basket and just hoping this big regular season experiment worked out.
