If you think about where we started the season...

- resentment with Joey leaving and returning
- beginning of the Maynor-less era

Joey Rodriguez finished off the season as one of the most clutch players on the team. Truly amazing to think of how his game progressed throughout the year.

forget the most improved, if he continues the way he has he will be the POY next season.

Don't even want to think where we would be right now if he left.

I think he's great. We'd be in 9th place or so if he had not come back. I don't think he'll raise his averages enough to get into the POY discussion next year, but who knows. 12-13ppg seems to be about all we can expect to squeeze out of him and stay balanced/competitive. I'd liked to see his assists go up more than his points.

Don't forget that he played hurt for most of the season as well. That will be a key for next year. His numbers looked much better when he wasn't injured.
