My brother just saw him heading into the Stu on crutches with some form of "air cast" looking thing on his ankle. Anyone know any details?
 
Was just told it's just a sprain and he should be back by the regular season opener
 
So now its Theus and RS Brandenburg at point for thurs night, right?
 
I think they're basically just playing it super safe with him right now, trying to get him ready for the regular season opener. If there's one player we had no question marks about heading into this exhibition it was Joey, this will just give us a chance to see more of what others can do.
 
Best to let this heal properly and not rush him back. Better to miss a game or two early than to risk a chronic nagging season long injury.
 
let him rest and get ready for the opener. I doubt we'll be endanger of losing to VUU just because joey is out. I think our back ups can handle the PG position for a exhibition.

I don't it has been confirmed that Brandenburg will redshirt. Actually at one of the recent barn burning talks, I believe Shaka said the exact opposite.

just as excited lol, but I would like Joey healthy! Maybe we will get to see that 43" vert from our back up back up pg
 
If Joey is out then I figure our PGs are Darius and Darius, w/ Brandon maybe handling the rock a little???
 
I guess this really throws a wrench in a lot of ya'lls fantasy 3. :lol:

In all seriousness, i hope Joey is is well soon. I am a reformed "I dont know about this Joey kid." to "Joey is the muthafuggin man." guy.
