Joey Interview is UP

Don't know if the interview was edited but man, that was a really good interview! The host asked some good questions. He was respectful but didn't throw softballs. Great job whoever you are because you did good.

Also, Joey has really matured he handled the interview very well. He said the right things but more importantly he didn't say the wrong thing.

Again, don't know if bloopers were edited out. However, that was really good.

BTW, really liked the Blaine Taylor question.

Didn't have to edit anything out. Joey was an easy interview - he really enjoys talking about the game.

Great job. I love that song too. Can we look forward to any more of these in the near future?

Joey has learned to talk coachspeak well. I thought he imparted a good amount of information without offending anyone. Hopefully he will be less diplomatic this year when necessary. This is his team and as the general sometimes you must kick some butt.

His statement about hoping to achieve something his predecessors did not is a noble goal, and achievable, but won't happen by Joey being Mr. Nice Guy all the time. Mr. Rodriguez, we know you have all the physical skills necessary, what we need from you this year is leadership.

Theres always one.

This kid did a great job during the interview. This information was for the fans we don't need any firing up.

All Joey could have done by giving us fire and brimstone was fire up his opponents. What he imparts to his teammate during the game, practice, and in the locker room is something totally different. You've seen the kid play do you really think he is going to bite his tongue if the team needs firing up?

BTW, did you hear his assessment of Brad? He stated that regardless of the lineup Brad would be in there somewhere.

My statement about the interview was meant to be nothing but complementary. There was not a scintilla of criticism in anything I said, so before you go getting wound up a word of advice, DON'T.

This is awful....November 4th is too far away. Great stuff RamNation guys and Joey.

If that statement was meant to be complimentary I would hate to see what you write when your pissed. BTW, you must be really good at "tough love" :D

Could you share some examples of what you would've preferred to hear him say?
