John Manning, is a 6-11 Junior, out of Chantilly High School in Faifax. He is playing in the Northern Region Virginia AAA Finals against Langley High School. He had 12 Blocks shots against Mt. Vernon. According to ESPN, He is a 3-start with 90 Grade and NO offers. WHY AREN'T WE GOING AFTER HIM????!!!!!

I don't know....good question....any idea either way...He would be a nice fit.

I've seen this kid play a ton. There's a reason he isn't getting much interest. He makes Kirill look like Carl Lewis. He's a nice kid but has limited offensive skills and needs to add a ton of strength. VCU is smart to pass on him. Last I heard he had some interest from VT, William & Mary, and maybe some Ivy League schools.

I'd have to agree with this. I've watched the kid play and I wasn't impressed. He should be dominating the Northern Region with his size. His lack of strenght and IMO passion is what keeps him from being great. The kid had opportunities to go to a number of WCAC schools after his Freshman year, but wanted to stay at Chantilly to be with his friends. I think this hurt him and his development. There are only a few kids that have passed on the WCAC and gone big time in the Northern Region. One of them is named Scottie Reynolds. O and F Langley, worst school in the region/probably the state
