http://www.goupstate.com/article/201103 ... -1/PSPORTS6-1 Jordan Roper of Irmo played his last game of his junior season at USC's Colonial Life Arena last Friday. He helped lead Irmo to the 4A state championship that night. And now, the Gamecocks are showing renewed interest in Roper who averaged over 20 points and 4 assists per game this season. "USC just came back into the picture," Roper said. He has offers from VCU, Tulane, Presbyterian and Tennessee State. Clemson also has been showing interest. "Clemson is trying to see what they are going to do with their 2011 class first," he said. Interest also is coming from Tennessee, Winthrop and UNC Asheville. "I'm just looking for the best opportunity," said Roper who has no timeline for a decision. He has visited USC and Clemson. This spring and summer he will play AAU ball for the South Carolina Hornets.
