September, 2009: Wilson is an athletic face up power forward that is as tough as nails. He competes on both ends of the floor and at times has the playing mentality that reminds me of Tyler Hansbrough. He attacks the basket for rebounds and is extremely tough to box out because of his relentless and constant effort. He runs the floor well and is an above the rim finisher with authority on the break. In the half court he can knock the trail jumper to the arc with time or attack the rim from the high post or low wing to get to the rim where he will welcome contact and finish through it. He can pick and pop and hit the open jumper comfortably inside the arc as well. He competes on defense but must learn that is he not big or strong enough to play dead behind the offensive player. He is an active shot blocker especially away from the ball. Wilson must continue to work on his ball handing and scoring moves against pressure off the dribble but this young forward is a blue collar tough guy that many coaches are going to be lined up for.
