Guess we liked what we saw in Gaines since we offered him who was offered by Iowa State and Marquette yesterday and is listed as having offers from Clemson, Georgia Southern, Georgia State and Witchita State according to rivals. Seems like Mike Jones was the coach who was in Atl today.

Kenny Gaines, 2012, SG, 6’3, 195lbs, Whitefield Academy (GA), Georgia Stars 16s-

A relative unknown, Gaines was one of many quality performers for the Georgia Stars in their afternoon victory. A strong, sturdy, athletic guard, Gaines put a lot of points on the board, primarily off the bounce. He was able to both get to the hoop and pull-up for a midrange jumper at times. Gaines is a great athlete with a nice upside despite being a bit undersized for a wing.

I'm hearing that we are very interested in Blossomgame. He can really throw it down. He's a high major minus guy and will probably get offers from some of the lower ACC types. We'll see what Shaka has up his sleeve!
 
how many years of recruiting are we trying to knock out before this season starts?

I dunno but I heard that Coach Smart will be visiting a kindergarten class tomorrow and three area hospital nurseries early next week. As long as all of our 2011 guys sign we have a tremendous jump on the rest of the CAA for 2012. We lost more 2011 recruits then some of the other schools have signed.

As long as all of our 2011 guys sign we have a tremendous jump on the rest of the CAA for 2012. We lost more 2011 recruits then some of the other schools have signed.

well i heard that we are close to wrapping up the 2015 group. fingers crossed that 8th grader that we were talking about doesnt get cold feet.

You never know when it comes to 13 year old kids. Let's not be too hard on them.
 
Bad news, we just missed out on a 2nd grader that we were really after. He said he is taking his talents to arts & crafts?!?!?!? :shock:
 
I hope we'll soon we'll be able to genetically map the basketball potential of the recently conceived and get some in utero offers on the table.

David Sills, an 8th grade QB at Red Lion Christian in Bear, Del., has verbally committed to play football at Southern Cal. Sills is 13 years old and high school Class of 2015. USC coach Lane kiffin has never seen Sills play in person - only on video highlight packages. He is supposedly the next Peyton Manning.
