Have any of you heard this or maybe it was posted before:

I work with a guy who graduated from UR this past May and he told me Anderson thought he signed with VCU, not UR. Not sure if UR tried to confuse him or he just didn't know any better, but he thought he was a Ram.
 
I highly, highly doubt this. :lol:

He's a good player, and I certainly wouldn't mind having him on the VCU squad...but that's far-fetched and ridiculous.
 
The guy I work with was friends with Kevin and said he was told this directly by Kevin.
 
I mean...fine, let's say this is legit (which would be even more hilarious), why wouldn't Kevin do due diligence and say google VCU to learn more about the program and then realize that the assistant who is recruiting him is not connected with the program? :lol:

I can't believe any recruit would just commit to a school without checking out the history, where they play, who they are playing with etc. I mean he went on a visit right? He would have seen University of Richmond and a quaint, scenic private campus, whereas VCU is a massive urban campus.

Still seems extremely far-fetched to me.
 
If he is that ignorant to be duped, or simply that stupid that he didn't know any better, I am glad he is a tick not a Ram.
 
I agree, just makes you wonder if Kevin just believed everything of the UR guy is pulling my leg, although he said he isn't.
 
It's just completely ridiculous that's all, I'm not saying you're lying. I highly suspect either Kevin was spinning tall tales in a moment of embarrassment when VCU may have been substantially better, or this guy is just misremembering the conversation. Even if it was the case, he came on a visit to the UR campus, he knew it wasn't VCU and he committed to them with a letter of intent to play at the University of Richmond, not VCU. There's too many things in recruiting that prevent the scenario you described from being possible.

Either way VCU wasn't recruiting him so he wasn't going to come here anyway. :lol:
