Krystal Vaughn signs training camp contract with San Antonio

The San Antonio Silver Stars today announced the signing of guards Charel Allen and Dee Davis and forward Krystal Vaughn to training camp contracts.

"We are pleased to have such a competitive camp shaping up," said General Manager Dan Hughes. "We have admired Krystal, Charel and Dee as we have competed against them in the past and we look forward to getting to know them as part of the Silver Stars in 2010."

Nice to see her resurfacing with an WNBA team after her stint with Washington, even if just a training camp contract. Hopefully she parlays that into something more substantive.

Heck yeah. She was awesome at VCU, and she deserves to be in the WNBA. She can tear people up, kind of like Maynor does. Even if she starts as a back up shes definitely good enough to be in the WNBA. Hope things go well for her.
