Lady Rams Basketball

Ok guys, so how do we get more support for our Lady Rams? They do their part by winning and being the 1ST Basketball team to be undefeated at the STU and I think we need to show them some love..... ideas? :ugeek:
 
I an proud of our women's basketball team. Mrs. H and I will be there. We have followed them the last three years. :D

Thanks, ram4life! I've been a follower since my freshamn year at VCU and even now as an alumni, I continue to show up at every home game and some away games.... I just wish we could get atleast 2-3000 fans to support our ladies on a consistent basis.

Well I guess 2-3000 would be a major jump and can't happen overnight so I guess I would shoot for a boost to about 1000 first and gradually get our number up.
 
Maybe we need to design a one-of-a-kind T-Shirt or jacket that only followers of the women's VCU basketball can ware to the game. Then at half-time we can all meet in a special room to talk, get stats, and have a Pepsi (maybe Pepsi would sponsor us--but no ads on the T-Shirts or jacket!). We need to make coming to the women's games something special. Also, students who come should get small token--such as a VCU key chain or noise makers, something you can't get anywhere else)--for coming. Perhaps we need to get Alex involved.

This sounds like an awesome idea!!! :o We all know the women's games are something special, we just need to spread the word.... Alex would probably be an excellent person to bring this to.

Had dinner last night with Trena Trice-Hill, assistant women's basketball coach, at the First Annual Athletic/Donor Banquet, and she likes the above ideas. They are working on improving attendance. It is one of her priorities.
