I think ODU may have this one.....well Georgetown coming back a bit.

The CAA has won some really good game...Oklahoma, Wake, and now possibly Georgetown......2 of those ranked. Plus a number of other good wins. Unfortunately, there have been some pretty bad losses too. Our conference lacks consistency.

I'm guessing that if we really examined the resumes of other conferences... at least those in the top dozen or so... what we would find could probably be described much the same way... we just happen to pay much closer attention when it's the CAA

Not really sure these rankings are really that believable half the time. Look at a lot of the teams that these ranked teams play....many, many cream puffs but just a couple of solid teams. Nonetheless a win over a ranked team is still something for the resume and could help at the end of the season.

Congrates to ODU. Guess Blaine didn't need the excuses.

I do LOVE to see the look on those pompass student's faces. The look of disbelief...."We lost....and to a mid-major".

I'll switch my excuses - Georgetwon students:

"They just got lucky. No way they could do that again (oops). We shouldn't play them anymore...it is a no-win game for us."

And Blaine says: "Well the Twinkie just came out on top of the snow cone" :lol: :lol:
 
They've already ruined it by making statements along the lines of "where are the doubters now!?"
