While I know many (most?) of you attended these games this weekend through student tickets, I'd encourage those of you that bought tourney tickets to still show up tomorrow night and root on William & Mary. If you want the emotional reason, it'd be nice to see Old Dominion go down (and judging by the way W&M played tonight they could definitely use the support). If you want a "classier" reason you can look at it as a way for the CAA to potentially get two bids to the NCAA tournament.

Don't let those tickets go to waste and don't let the 'Narch's take the Coliseum.

(NOT SO) FUN FACT: If ODU wins they will tie UR for the most CAA tournament championships.

We certainly won't turn down any extra help. ODU will certainly be louder than us tomorrow night and some extra support would go a long way.

Plus, it's our only chance for the league to get 2 bids .................. $$

Rather than rally the troops for the Tribe why not rally support for our own program? There are a lot of so-called fans having an orgasism over the loss this afternoon.

Any other time I would not route for W&M but, them winning will ultimately be best for the conference.

1. gets 2 CAA teams in to the tourney with out a doubt
2. It brings in more money for the CAA
3. It would help our conference get better recognition
4. Then we can  because ODU lost and hasnt won a CAA Tourney since '05.

organism?? really??

Tribe have no chance

Any support would be loved. We'll need to play better, but if we get hot it can happen. We need the W more than they do, and aren't coming off an OT game.

And for the record I cheered for you guys today, and not because I would have rather played you(was with a friend who is going to VCU next year).

Thanks! I did notice that it looked like most of the William & Mary fans I saw were pulling for ODU, but I won't hold that against them. :)

Yeah (my bad on the spelling), there's a segment of the so-called fan base who are more thrilled that we lost than they would've been if we won the CAA tournament. Feeling vindicated about a coach they never liked is what they care about most.

well 3 of the 4 schools in the semis (and both in the finals I guess :| ) have roots in W&M, so maybe it's just an extended Tribe after all

I can't remember, who broke away first, us or ODU?

Hard to root for someone other than us. Easy to root against ODU though. I'll probably be there.

I'll go, wont cheer for anybody though, just hope for a good game

Of course, this game also has the potential to be a lot like the 2001 GMU/UNCW game. . .

It doesn't make any of us lesser fans because we want our program to improve. Your perception of a fan is as skewed as your inability to admit faults with Shaka's coaching.

Madram - you're lying when you say I can't admit fault with Smart's coaching. You're telling the truth when I question if you're a true fan if you're saying a coach's job should be on the line if we have another 22-9 season.

darn, must go to bed but had to answer..

Please look no further than Akron U and check your 22-9 logic. They haven't "DANCED" since 1986. I ask you back, " if you're a true fan if you're saying a coach's job should be on the line if we have another 22-9 season."? Let's not spin this OK?
