I get it some of you question Shaka's decisions. Some of you think Joey is terrible. Some of you think the team will not beat a high school team but time an place is key. Don't go to the game that you are an alleged fan of and bash your players and coach. In my opinion it is barely tolerable here but it is the Internet so I guess it's no holds barred.

I disagree with things Shaka does. I wish our players did different things. Trust me there is no one that wants to win every game by 30 more than me. So I def am not a homer but I am a respectful fan of my team (sometimes not so much the other team . ) I cheer hard and I get disappointed hard.

So like the subject says..... You sound ridiculous when you are at a game and yell these things.

When you have passionate fans who expect success, and don't get what they expect... it can get messy (like these boards sometimes). But let's be real. These kids are playing to win and it's on their shoulders. Can you imagine the pressure they're put in when they're down by 30 points against a team they've won the past 5 years. Can you imagine the pressure they seniors are in, after 9 games, winning six and losing two already, and having a dream to have the most wins in school history? Can you imagine what's going through Joey's mind when he's not getting the results he wants on the court after trying desperately to make things work that he's forced to try new things, and then hears and reads the crap people are saying on these boards about his game. I mean to us, a lot of us are impartial. We don't play the game. We're just bystanders while these kids play their hearts out to bring success to our recently successful program. There's a lot of pressure on their shoulders to succeed. It's easy to point fingers when you're not in the hot seat. But with thousands of eyes watching you and critiquing your actions, even shouting out how to do better (which by the way, isn't constructive criticism), there's a lot of mental fortitude required to play a solid game.

People really do need to chill out...

Yeah being down by 30 to the hated Spiders hurts, but we did fight back and make it respectable. Not to take any solace in that, but it does make things a little better. We are experiencing some growing pains and we need more vocal leadership on the court. I think Joey can do it, but his play has been sporadic and I think it's hard to lead when you aren't playing up to your potential (I think injury has a lot to do with that).

I feel things tend to get overanalyzed on this board at times; let this team work its kinks out before getting into conference play. As much as I hate the Patriots they did lose to the Browns pretty bad earlier this year. Every team has there losses and we need to learn from our mistakes and keep growing.
